Summary: "Boring boring boring..."
I hate all these movies. Every last one is the same as the first. Same stupid plot, same boring kills. You always know who is next and can predict everything half an hour before it happens. These movies have no soul. I don't care about the characters. I don't like Jason at all. It's not fun, scary or entertaining in the least. Bugs Bunny is scarier than these movies. At least with A Nightmare on Elm Street you get great stories with cheesy lines from a great character actor (Robert Englund). The Nightmare movies were fun to watch. You cared about the characters in these films. And you also loved Freddy. It was always a little sad when Freddy was killed at the end of each movie and you couldn't wait for him to come back in the next. His kills were original and based on the fears of those he killed. With Jason it is all just random. It's not interesting or fun. It's not even scary. It's just the same old crap over and over. I like a little more substance in my horror than this. If you do too, do not buy this. Instead but A Nightmare on Elm Street 1 through 4. Don't buy the remake however. It was not that great.

once i put the first friday 13th until the last i was very pleased with it. it contains inside the box set part 1,2 on 1 disc, part 3,4 on 1 disc, part 5,6 on 1 disc,part 7,8 on 1 disc. and then there is a bonus disc. like i said this is a great box set. check it out......

Summary: "Nice collection though missing some things"
The Friday the 13th movies finally gets a boxset, although it would've been nice that if Jason Goes to Hell: The Final Friday was amongst this. The only problem was that that movie was done through New Line, the one that done the Nightmare on Elm Street movies, while the first eight movies were done by Paramount. While this collection is nice to have in your collection for anyone that's looking for a reason to have these movies for your collection.
While I don't get what's with the other people complaining about all of the movies should've been in the uncut format. Although I'm not the one to complain back but if you would've seen that that these movies didn't include the uncut, why did you go buy it in the first place. As for me I'm just happy to just have them in my collection even if I'm like a horror movie nut. Even with the bonus disc with at least some bonus features to give us a taste on how the movies were done along with some insight on how the some of the stunts and all performed. I give this collection a solid 4 stars out of 5.

I WANTED THE HOLE SET OF FRIDAY THE 13TH AND I REED WHAT SOME OF YOU PEOPLE WROTE SO WHAT I DID AND MAYBE ANY OF YOU PEOPLE THAT WANT THE HOLE SET WELL WHAT I DID IS I BOUGHT EACH DISC INSEAD OF BUYING THE HOLE SET AT ONCE AND I AM GLAD I DID BECAUSE I INJOY WATCHING THEM WISH MY BOYFRIEND DID BUT HE DON'T LIKE HORROR LOLLOLLOL WELL I HOPE THIS HELPS YOU ALL

Summary: "Great set, saves allot of room on my dvd shelf for more to come."
I love this box set, not the best I have seen but, it's still good enough for me. If you dont whant to get each one individualy then i would highly recommend this for the slim casess and the bonous special feutures disc. Highly recommended for any fan of the horror genre
